Imaging the Crust with Large N Arrays | The recent advent of technologies for continuous recording of very large arrays (e.g. N> 500) has open the door to new methodologies for imaging crustal structure and active tectonic processes from the near surface to Moho depths. Both active and passive recording with such arrays promise unprecedented detail for both 3D imaging and 4D monitoring. This session will review recent experience and explore the future potential of this new capability in the resource exploration industry as well as academia. | Larry Brown |
