Cloudinids and allied Metazoans

The symposium is selected because for Cloudina species there are several aspects important for Ediacaran palaeontology: taxonomy, systematic, palaeobiology, biostratigraphy and palaeozoogeography. Call for contributions of scientist all over world studying this subject would have opportunity to came closer to discuss and develop concepts for Cloudina and its allied genera. The genus Cloudina Germs, 1972 was erected based on material from Namibia, but occurrences their species are recorded as well as in South Africa, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Russia, Canada, USA, China, Iran, Spain and other countries. Particularly, species of this genus have become of great importance for biostratigraphic approach and so, this symposium would be an opportunity to share advances on this subject.
