Tethys birth to demise: Stratigraphy, Palaeogeography and Tectonic Evolution
|
The geological evolution of Turkey and Iran is complex and plays an important role in understanding the tectonics of various Tethyan tectonic domains, including Proto-, Paleo-, and Neo-Tethys. We invite contributions to this symposium that describe different tectonic elements of Turkey and Iran and compare them with other Tethyan tectonic elements in the Tethyan Domains of Asia, Europe, and surrounding regions. We welcome contributions from all fields, including tectonics, structural geology, petrology, geochemistry, paleogeography, petroleum geology, mineral deposits, paleontology, and stratigraphy.
